You can be as involved as you want to be.  Some clients prefer to have us take care of everything with little involvement along the way.  Others prefer a more deliberate process whereby wines are tasted from time to time as wines are accumulated.  In either case, we work closely with our clients so we are entirely sure we are meeting their needs in the best possible way.

Wine cellars are very personal.  A selection of wines that may be well suited for one client may not satisfy the needs of another.  Lifestyle, taste preferences, various likes and dislikes, entertaining needs (the wines served at a dinner party for 8 will typically be different than those served at a large party for 50), climate, size of the wine cellar, price preferences, etc. are just some of the factors that influence what wines will make up an individual's wine cellar.

Sure.  Part of the fun of collecting wine is that you can drink more mature wine that's "ready to drink" while you wait for younger wines to mature.  If you don't currently own older vintages we can certainly jump start your cellar by obtaining older vintages for you to enjoy.  It's also fun to collect large format wines (magnums, 3L, 6L, etc) which ways make a nice impression for dinner parties and larger gatherings.

We will put you in touch with the best cellar designers and builders to fit the job you desire.  We can work alongside these experts so you can be assured that your cellar will properly accommodate the wines you are acquiring (bottle sizes, case lots, etc) and be the perfect environment for the storage and aging of your wines.

Our fees vary depending on the type of service provided.  Typically a consultancy fee is added to the cost of the wine, depending on the type of work done and the size of the cellar.  For some services an hourly fee is more appropriate.  Our clients have told us that they believe our fees are very fair for the value they receive.  Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your needs and pricing.
